The Etruria Canals Festival is back for 2019 taking place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June 2019 10am-5pm. The event is free to attend!
The theme for the 2019 event is Pockets of Paradise, and is all about exploring, enjoying and nurturing the natural world. We’re programming a range of hands on activities, arts projects and exhibitors that will bring this theme to life.

How to get to the Festival
Train. The Festival site is a 10 minute walk along the Trent & Mersey Canal towpath from Stoke station. Just head north and enjoy a pleasant walk to the show.
Bus. Take a bus to Stoke station, Hanley bus station or Festival Park. The Festival is a pleasant ten to fifteen minutes’ walk from these points.
Bicycle. Just cycle along the towpath of the Trent & Mersey or Caldon canals and you will get to the Festival site. Ample bike parking, but please, walk through the Festival site to avoid the crowds.
Walk. Perhaps the best way to get to the Festival. Along the towpaths of the Trent & Mersey and Caldon canals to the junction at Etruria.
Cars may be parked on the recreation ground off Etruria Vale Road, ST1 4RB, opp Kilndown Close. Stewards will be on hand to direct traffic.
Disabled parking will be available with the help of stewards. Please report in at the Kilndown Close steward point and ask for advice.
The organisers ask festival goers not to attempt to park in the Castlefield Street/ Lomas Street area as this area must be kept clear for emergency vehicles and local residents.
