A vibrant tin planter set containing coir soil and seed ball available in two varieties – Chamomile and Forget-me-not. Each tin includes a coir disc made from coconut husk (a peat-free, renewable byproduct of the coconut industry) which expands when water is added and makes for a super compost. Also included are 3 seed balls (approximately 90 seeds in total) to pop on top of the hydrated coir. The tins can be kept outdoors (a special varnish helps to slow down the rusting process) or a sunny spot on an indoor windowsill. Keep the balls and soil well hydrated (but not too soggy) and in time you’ll have a lovely pot of wildflowers. The tins themselves are manufactured in London from Welsh-mined tinplate by the last tin can maker using solar power. The tins will look great on a windowsill, shelf, balcony or counter-top and can have many lives! They can be re-used as indoor plant pots for herbs, succulents or houseplants, or for organising pens, kitchen utensils, and keepsakes. They are also 100% recyclable.
