When we return to the Recreation ground, the fun continues with amazing local charities showcasing our local animal heroes and the dedicated teams behind them. On this special day, we wanted to acknowledge all those who make a difference to animals and people across our wonderful county.

At 1pm we have the special honour of having demonstration by Cornwall search dogs, a brilliant charity that saves lives by rescuing dogs across Cornwall. Then, at 1:30pm we have The Cinnamon Trust dog show which has 10 categories. There is no pre-registration required, so check our event schedule, on the day, and bring your dogs to the categories you wish to enter.

And there’s more…. If dog shows aren’t your thing, there will be snacks available all afternoon. Our Doggy Delicatessen will be cooking up freshly made meaty treats, pouring puppuccinos, and delivering doggy ice cream. So please join us, and help us to celebrate 40 fantastic years of The Cinnamon Trust!

Of course there will be fun and refreshments for people too, The Rec Café, will have a wide range of snacks and drinks for purchase. We’ll be selling tickets for a tombola, have a bouncy castle for the little ones and Rewind Radio will provide us with the perfect soundtrack to this fun filled day.

This isn’t just about marking a milestone; it’s a chance to meet like-minded people, embrace the joy of charity, volunteering, and enjoy a wonderful day together. And what makes a walk better? A wagging tail, of course! If you have a dog (or walk one for us), bring them along! If you haven’t yet been matched with a furry friend, this is the perfect opportunity to spread the word, inform others of the help that is available to them and the people they know in your community.
