Our mission is to ensure that older people, those living with terminal illness, and their beloved companions never have to face the sorrow of parting from their beloved companion due to lack of support.

As well as offering owners the loving solution to make arrangements for their pet’s future knowing that they will always be cared for in a home-from-home environment.

Although our headquarters are based in Cornwall…

We join hands with owners and volunteers nationwide, united by a shared goal—to give every pet the love and care they deserve.

Together, we create a space where both pets and people feel nurtured, safe, and supported, ensuring this heartfelt mission is fulfilled.

For this reason, our registration process is thoughtfully detailed, allowing us to understand everyone involved on a deeper level. By doing so, we ensure minimal distress and provide the utmost comfort and peace of mind for all.

What sets us apart

  • All-encompassing care

From daily help to short-term fostering or life long care, we support owners and their pets now and always.
  • We never rely on kennels or catteries

Whether short-term, or forever, we always place pets in home-from-home environments.

  • We have two sanctuaries

We have two cosy purpose-built sanctuaries that welcome pets with special media needs who have been entrusted to our forever care.

Our sanctuaries

Poldarves Farm in Cornwall and Hillside Sanctuary in Devon — these offer a safe haven for pets with special medical needs who have been entrusted to our care.

Our Patrons

Dame Virginia McKenna DBE

Sir Paul McCartney CH MBE

Sir Paul McCartney CH MBE and his late wife Linda McCartney joined as patrons in 1988, known for their deep and sincere love for all animals. Paul graciously became our patron, continuing the legacy of his late wife, Linda McCartney, an incredible artist and animal rights activist, who was our original patron and deeply connected to our cause.
