Head Office

At The Cinnamon Trust, we’re more than a charity, we are a lifeline for people and their beloved pets during life’s most challenging moments. Every day, we support individuals facing terminal illness, mobility struggles, mental health concerns, and personal crises. For many, the worry of caring for their pets adds to the weight they carry. That’s where we step in, with kindness, understanding, and unwavering support.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to make sure no one feels alone when caring for a pet becomes difficult. To achieve this, we need extraordinary people, people who bring empathy, patience, and heart to every conversation. Joining our team means being ready to talk about life’s hardest topics: grief, worry, illness, loss, and loneliness, because behind every call is someone who needs hope and help. Dealing with these types of call needs special people and we understand for some people these types of calls are upsetting and triggering.

If you’re looking for a job where you make a real difference and are part of something truly meaningful, then we would love to welcome you to our family.

Our Sanctuaries

The Cinnamon Trust is a lifeline for people and their beloved pets during life’s most challenging moments. Every day, we support individuals facing terminal illness, mobility struggles, mental health concerns, and personal crises. For many, the worry of caring for their pets adds to the weight they carry.

For 40 years we have been giving peace of mind to people about the future of their pets, making them a promise that if they pass away or go into nursing care we will be there. The promise we make is to love every bereaved pet that comes into our care, either in a Forever Foster home or one of our unique sanctuaries. Our sanctuaries offer a calm, home from home environment for pets that are elderly or medically dependant. The pets that reside there are those that have life-limiting conditions and need extra love, patience and kindness. The staff who work at our sanctuaries are very special and know how important it is for these precious residents to have the best possible life and passing when the time comes. Palliative care for pets is challenging and if you are an animal lover it is natural to feel each passing deeply. We do offer counselling and support, but for some the sense of loss can be triggering and overwhelming.
Helping pets in the later stage of their lives is hugely rewarding and a privilege. If you’re looking for more than just a job and be part of something truly meaningful, then we would love to welcome you to our family.
