The kind staff of GP Vets came together and conquered the mighty Mount Snowden, raising funds for The Cinnamon Trust!

Shania a student vet nurse at GP Veterinary practice explained that she ‘wanted to set herself a challenge/had a mid 20’s crisis to climb a mountain.’ She managed to gather some other members of staff from GP Vets including, vets, client care, nurses and partners (and of course our honorary practice dog Lola) to join her on this challenge.

Shania said “We have set ourselves monthly challenges to help us get ready for this, which will culminate in climbing mount Snowdon on 16th May 2026. We have decided to raise money for the Cinnamon Trust, a charity we work closely with at GP Vets, to help them raise funds for the vital work they do. Providing help and care for older people who may not be able to look after their animals, with any aspect of daily care, along with providing a safe haven for animals who have out lived their owners.”

And on the 16th May, as planned the team summited Mount Snowdon! Along the way raising an astonishing £2,110.

We are so grateful to GP Vets. Thanks to Shania for her inspired idea, and to Rachel, Lyndsey, Ali, Heather, Andy, Jen,  Andy and Kevin.
