What is The Big Walk?
Returning for a third year, our aim is to give excitement and purpose to the early May bank holiday. We want to transform this day into a celebration of The Cinnamon Trust, volunteering, the joy of helping others, and raising vital funds.
Fast-forward to now…
The Big Walk is now an annual spectacle! A celebration and a yearly reminder that together we are making the world a better place.
And you can be part of it! Whether you host a group walk with family and friends, take on a sponsored solo walk, or get involved with a public meet up with the local volunteers and dogs in your community, we want to hear from you!
We want to make this anniversary year our biggest and best Big Walk yet, so we need YOU!
In previous years our volunteers have gathered together to celebrate volunteering in their communities, this year we want to use our Big Walk events to spread the word.
Our aim is to get people talking about The Cinnamon Trust, help recruit more volunteers and reach those who need our help.
We want The Cinnamon Trust to become a household name so we can help as many owners and their pets as possible. If you would like to get involved, please let us know! We have a Big Walk team on standby to register your walks, connect volunteers, and help promote all the events around the country.

Being a part of The Big Walk is simple, and size is not everything; a walk where just one person takes part can have a BIG impact. Informing just one person of the help that they could receive, or be a part of providing, means your walk is a massive success.
Whether you join a group Big Walk, create your own Big Walk in a local park, or take on a solo sponsored walk, please get involved. Your participation will mean the world to us and will make our 40th year celebrations that bit more special!
