I'm walking all 630 miles of the SW Coastal Path - from Minehead to Poole - in June 2026, capturing birdsong and dog-tales along the way.
Why? After spending years underground as a tube driver, I'm walking overground and discovering the great outdoors - simply putting one step in front of the other. I live on north Dartmoor so I'm really lucky to have the moors nearby, but also the rugged coastlines and sandy coves of North Devon and Cornwall too.
I decided to walk the full SW Coast Path in 26 days, so will spend 10- 14 hrs per day walking whilst carrying my tent - friends asked if I was collecting for charity - well, why not! - so I decided to ask for donations to a charity located close to Okehampton, where I live - The Cinnamon Trust.
I will capture birdsong and tales of the dogs I bump into along the way, and pop it onto my Instagram page
