My six-year-old daughter Juanita and I have begun volunteering to walk Bramble, a six-year-old Border Terrier. The fact that Juanita and Bramble are the same age was the first clue they would become friends!
When we first explored the country lanes together on a Sunday morning and people came out of the chapel, we realised Bramble is famous. He is a local legend who people fuss over without hesitation due to his sweet temperament.
It feels spectacular to be able to help Bramble and his dad Brian, as well as to explore the countryside where we moved after many years in London.
There is a feeling that everyone is benefiting from this arrangement and we look forward to more adventures with Bramble.
