A few years ago, we recognised the heartbreak older people face when they must give up their pets to enter care homes.

As requests for pet-friendly homes increased, we created our trusted list of care homes. Our list grew exponentially and we found updating the list was taking us away from our core mission of providing practical care to keep owners and pets together.

That's why we've partnered with TrustedCare, who offer a comprehensive list of homes and support for those seeking residential care.

If you are looking for a pet-friendly care home, please feel free to reach out to the TrustedCare team today.

TrustedCare is an online directory and referral website for social care services, including care homes, nursing homes, and home care agencies.

With their extensive knowledge and information on care providers across the UK, they will act as our trusted point of contact for any enquiries from owners looking for a care home to welcome both them and their pets.

TrustedCare will be able to provide up-to-date information on a care home’s facilities and advise on what to consider when moving in with your pet.

They use the Care Quality Commission (CQC) or the Care Inspectorate databases, location-dependent, along with information submitted by care providers about the types of care support and facilities. They also collect and publish reviews from people who have used the listed care homes and home care services, allowing prospective care seekers to understand the quality of care based on others’ experiences.

Struggling to find a care home that welcomes both you and your pet?

Let TrustedCare guide you with their unique, up-to-date listings and expert support.
