This exciting partnership emerged after Luke Stevens, Anna-Marie White, and their dedicated team at Mounts Bay Veterinary Centre had been caring for other long-term foster pets in the Penzance area for over 14 years. Known for their utmost care and compassion, it was only natural to extend their loving care to the pets at Poldarves, ensuring a nurturing environment for those in their forever homes.

Commenting on this significant partnership, Patrick Williams, Chief Executive at The Cinnamon Trust, expresses his delight, saying:

“I am thrilled that Mounts Bay Veterinary Practice has extended their care to cover all our small animal beloved pets at Poldarves Sanctuary. Working with one of the few remaining independent Veterinary practices in Cornwall will enhance the family feel that everyone at The Cinnamon Trust is passionate about.”

Luke Stevens, Director at Mounts Bay Vets, shares his sentiments:

“It is such an honour to provide veterinary services for the pets at the Cornwall Sanctuary. Having been involved in the care of the charity’s fostered pets over many years, it is our great privilege to take up this role, ensuring a healthy and happy retirement for the pets in their care.”

The two home-from-home sanctuaries run by The Trust offer a loving forever home for pets from all over the country.

The sanctuaries are lovingly designed to offer a warm and nurturing home for elderly pets and those with ongoing medical needs. Here, the caring staff provides dedicated support, ensuring each pet feels cherished and well cared for throughout their lives, thanks to the thoughtful arrangements made by their owners with The Trust.

The Trust recognises that each pet welcomed at the sanctuaries has been a cherished companion who has brought joy and comfort to someone’s life. As such, this partnership is particularly meaningful as it upholds The Trust’s lifelong promise to ensure that these pets are always loved and cared for just like their owners wished.
