Every day, we connect pet owners with fosterers who lovingly open their homes to care for pets while their owners receive medical care or recover.

Each short-term fosterer plays a vital role in ensuring that both pets and their owners feel supported during difficult times, until they can be happily reunited.

We want every volunteer, owner and pet to feel safe and valued.

That’s why we put so much care into our registration process, learning all the important details about each pet and volunteer. This allows us to create thoughtful matches that fit perfectly with each volunteer’s experience and lifestyle, ensuring happy and rewarding experiences for everyone.

Short-term fosterers offer so much more than just a comforting home-away-from-home for pets—they provide owners with the priceless peace of mind to focus on their own care, knowing their beloved companions are in safe, loving hands.

Dianne shares about Darcy the Pug

Darcy is the second dog we have fostered for The Cinnamon Trust. She came into our home and our hearts in September, and stayed for a few weeks whilst mum Gill was in hospital recovering from a hip operation.

My husband and I, and our children Stanley and Rose, fell in love with her immediately. Full of smiles and cuddles, she would follow us around the house and sit with us whilst we worked and was always keen to help Rosie with her homework. It’s not just been looking after Darcy and Charlie which has been so enjoyable – we've made friends with their owners.

Our short-term fosterers are changing the lives of pets and owners nationwide.
